Anindita completed her B.F.A from Tripura University in 2007 followed by a M.F.A from the S.N. School, Hyderabad Central University in 2009. She has been a recipient of the Young Talented Artists’ Award, Ministry of Culture in 2008-09. She had her first group show in Mumbai with Galerie Mirchandani + Steinreuke, 2013. Her works transport you into the old-world charm, inspired by the pre-Raphaelite era’s rich costumes, sets and dream like fantasies that tell stories of a period gone by.
