Hector Frank was born in Havana in 1961 and trained as an electrical engineer. After years of working for the Cuban government he quit his job to pursue art. Through his work, he wishes to express his inner creativity and depict the influences, colors, textures, sounds, and landscapes of Cuban life.
Currently, living and working in Havana Cuba, Hector Frank has a following and defined respect within the creative art community in Havana. Internationally, Hector Frank’s continues to grow demand based on recent Solo exhibitions in New York City & San Francisco and recent mentions in Architectural Digest, Forbes, Departures, and soon to be the New York Times.
Hector Frank has exhibited throughout Cuba and internationally in France, Mexico, Canada Belgium, Malaysia, and the United States —most recently, Hector Frank had a solo exhibition in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan New York.
